The subject of this Bachelor thesis is a recap of the evolution of flat-rate expenditure in the determination of the tax base for self-employed persons in the Czech Republic. Practical examples show the advantages and disadvantages of the use of the flat-rate expenditure. Practical examples are focused on the period 2013 – 2016.
