In this work I explore the significance of fashion, film costumes and dress in the domestic enviroment of the 1930s. I connect them with the context of lifestyle and analyze the constructive role of costumes on the level of fictional characters and star images both through the analysis of Lída Baarová's star image. V tejto práci sa zaoberám významom módy, filmových kostýmov a šiat v domácom prostredí 30. rokov. Prepájam ich s kontextom životného štýlu a analýzou konštruktívnej role kostýmu na úrovni fiktívnych postáv aj hviezdnych obrazov pomocou rozboru hviezdneho obrazu Lídy Baarovej.
