New financial products of EU and their investment usage

Abstract:

Cílem práce je charakteristika a srovnání nových investičních produktů, které jsou emitovány na území Evropské unie. Nejdříve jsou všeobecně popsány moderní strukturované produkty v rozdělení do dvou kategorií, a to investiční produkty, pákové produkty. Je provedena analýza jejich vývoje v rámci vybraných trhů, včetně postavení těchto finančních inovací na českém finančním trhu. Následuje hlubší rozbor jednotlivých investičních certifikátů, které jsou zatříděny do tří skupin podle výše garance. Tato část obsahuje popis struktury, způsobu fungování, možných rizik, vývoje při různých tržních scénářích. V poslední části jsou uvedeny dvě studie pro srovnání výkonnosti certifikátů s jinými aktivy.

Abstract:

The aim of the submitted thesis is a characteristic and comparison of the new investment products emitted in the European Union. Firstly, there is a general description of the modern structured products that are divided into two categories: investment products, leverage products. The following analysis of their evolution in the chosen financial markets includes the situation of these financial innovations on the czech market. Than there is a deeper study of each investment certificate. Certificates are allocated into three groups by the amount of guarantee and their structure, concept of functioning, potential risks, performance by different markets scenarios are explained. In the last part can be found two studies of the performance comparision between certificates and other assets with the inclusion of the target analysis.
