Interception of pursued vehicles by the Police of the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Předmětem bakalářské práce je v řadách příslušníků Policie České republiky zjistit úroveň vycvičenosti, znalosti a schopnosti ve využívání prostředků k násilnému zastavování vozidel, která jsou pronásledována. Dále je cílem nashromážděná data získaná od policistů vyhodnotit a na základě výsledků navrhnout zlepšení. V teoretické části autor vyjmenovává a popisuje základní pojmy, které se vyskytují v šetřené problematice, následně definoval právní rámec pro zastavování vozidel. Poté autor popsal prostředky využívané pro násilné zastavování vozidel v České republice, ale i v jiných světových lokalitách. V závěru teoretické části se autor krátce věnuje problematice přeshraničního pronásledování. Praktická část bakalářské práce je věnována shromažďování dat pomocí řízených rozhovorů s policisty, která jsou následně vyhodnocena. Na základě těchto dat autor následně navrhuje zlepšení.

Abstract:

The subject of the bachelor's thesis is to find out the level of training, knowledge and ability in the use of means to forcibly stop vehicles that are being pursued in the ranks of the Police of the Czech Republic. Furthermore, the goal is to evaluate the accumulated data obtained from police officers and propose improvements based on the results. In the theoretical part, the author enumerates and describes the basic terms that occur in the investigated issue, then defined the legal framework for stopping vehicles. The author then described the means used for forcibly stopping vehicles in the Czech Republic, but also in other locations around the world. At the end of the theoretical part, the author briefly addresses the issue of cross-border persecution. The practical part of the bachelor's thesis is devoted to the collection of data using controlled interviews with police officers, which are subsequently evaluated. Based on this data, the author then suggests improvements.
