This Diploma thesis deals with the characteristics of female characters in the works with Christian themes by two German female authors, specifically Luise Rinser and Gertrud von Le Fort. The main part of the thesis is focused on the analysis of two works – the novel “Miriam” by Luise Rinser and the novella “The Wife of Pilate” by Gertrud von Le Fort. Tato diplomová práce se zabývá charakteristikou ženských postav v dílech s křesťanskou tématikou u dvou německých autorek, kterými jsou Luise Rinserová a Gertrud von Le Fort. Práce je zaměřena především na analýzu dvou děl – jde o román „Mirjam“ od autorky Luisy Rinserové a novelu „Pilátova žena“ od spisovatelky Gertrudy von Le Fort.
