Práce se soustředí na katalogizaci a vyhodnocení vrcholně a pozdně středověkých reliéfně zdobených kachlů z královského města Brna a jeho předměstí na základě ikonografické analýzy opírající se o řadu analogií z domácí i zahraniční kachlové produkce i z vysokého umění. The article centres upon the cataloguing and assessment of relief tiles from the royal town of Brno and its suburbs in the high and late Middle Ages, on the basis of iconographic analysis based on a number of analogies drawn from Czech and foreign tile production, as well as from fine art.
