Abstract:

Diplomová práce Naturalismus v díle Emila Zoly se zaměřuje na vývoj naturalismu v prozaické tvorbě francouzského spisovatele Emila Zoly. První část se zabývá tímto literárním směrem, věnuje se jeho historii, představitelům, taktéž přibližuje podmínky vzniku a přesně vymezuje znaky naturalismu. Druhý oddíl stručně přibližuje biografii a literární činnost Emila Zoly. Poslední dvě kapitoly se věnují již konkrétním dílům. Třetí kapitola analyzuje vybrané romány francouzského autora, především se zaměřuje na skutečnost, zda knihy podléhají naturalistické koncepci. Poslední část porovnává fakta z předchozího oddílu a vyvozuje závěry.

Abstract:

The thesis Naturalism in the works of Emile Zola focuses on the development of naturalism in prose of French author Emile Zola. The first part deals with the literary movement itself, with its history and its representatives. This part also describes conditions of the origin of this movement, moreover it defines precisely the characteristics of naturalism. The second part outlines biography and literary activity of Emile Zola. The last two chapters deal with specific works. The third chapter analyzes selected Zola's novels with main focus on determination if the books are subject to a naturalistic conception. The last part compares the information and facts from the previous section and draws conclusions.
