Abstract:

Diplomová práce „Česká a světová komorní žesťová uskupení současnosti“ pojednává o významných českých a světových komorních uskupeních, která jsou tvořena výhradně z hráčů hrajících na žesťové nástroje. Autorka vybrala deset předních českých souborů a devět souborů světového významu. Zkoumá jejich vliv na kulturní život společnosti, jejich vlastní historii, stejně tak jako historii komorní hudby a žesťových nástrojů, které často bývají v těchto uskupeních využity. Se třemi členy z různých českých uskupení je v práci přepsán rozhovor, aby čtenáři umožnil vhled do zákulisí českých brass bandů.

Abstract:

Diploma thesis "Czech and World Chamber Brass Groups of the Present" deals with important Czech and world chamber groups, which are made up exclusively of players playing brass instruments. The author selected ten leading Czech ensembles and nine ensembles of world importance. It examines their influence on the cultural life of society, their own history, as well as the history of chamber music and brass instruments, which are often used in these groups. An interview with three members from various Czech groups is rewritten in the work to give the reader insight into the backstage of Czech brass bands.
