Tax and accounting specifics of individual legal forms of business

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zaobírá daňovými a účetními specifiky u vybraných právních forem podnikání v České republice. Cílem práce je zanalyzovat specifika u konkrétní malé účetní jednotky (společnost s ručením omezeným) a střední účetní jednotky (akciové společnosti) a následně je mezi sebou porovnat a nalézt odlišnosti. K této analýze pomohla teoretická část, kde byly popsány jednotlivé právní formy podnikání a jejich daňové povinnosti a vedení účetnictví. Při porovnání obou účetních jednotek se zjistily odlišnosti u daňových specifik v používané sazbě daně z přidané hodnoty. U účetních specifik byly zjištěny rozdílnosti především ve výkazech účetní závěrky a v množství používaných analytických účtů společnosti.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with tax and accounting specifics of selected legal forms of business in the Czech Republic. The work aims to analyze the specifics of a particular small entity (limited liability company) and a medium-sized entity (joint-stock company) and then compare them and find differences. The theoretical part helped with this analysis, where the individual legal forms of business and their tax obligations and bookkeeping were described. When comparing the two accounting units, differences in tax specifics are found in the value-added tax rate used. Differences were found in the accounting specifics, mainly in the financial statements and in the number of analytical accounts used by the company.
