"I Have Lived in Socialism" - Reflection of Socialism in the Contemporary Bulgarian Prose

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je rozdlena na dvě hlavní části. První část se týká vývoje bulharské literatury po roce 1989. Nejdříve nás seznamuje s vývojem literárního kánonu druhé poloviny 20. století a nepatrně i s historickými událostmi tohoto období. práce poté pokračuje rozborem literárních událostí po roce 1989. V rámci devadesátých let minulého století studuje především bulharský literární postmodernismus, kde zkoumá jeho hlavní znaky, vývoj a jeho přijetí ve společnosti a literární obci. Další kapitola se věnuje posledním rokům bulharské literatury, kterou zkoumá především z pohledu literární kritiky, čtenáře a knižních vydavatelství. Druhá část diplomové práce je zaměřena na reflexi období socialismu ve vybraných dílech Georgiho Gospodinova a Aleka Popova. Nejdříve nás seznamuje s profilem samotných autorů a poté analyzuje jednotlivé texty. Následuje závěr, ve kterém sumarizuje všechny získané poznatky.

Abstract:

This diplom thesis is divided into two main parts. The first part relates to the development of bulgarian literature after 1989. First introduces us with development of literary canon in the secon half of the twentieth century and slightly with the historical events of this period. Then work proceeds to an analysis of literary events after 1989. In the context of 1990´s is studies mainly Bulgarian literary postmodernism, where researches its main characters, development and its acceptance in society and literary society. The next chapter covers last years of Bulgarian literature, which examines from the perspective of literary criticism, reader and book publishing. The second part of this disertation is focused on reflection of socialism in selected works of Georgi Gospodinov and Alek Popov. First introduces us with the profile of the authors, and then analyzes individual texts. The whole thesis is followed by a conclusion summarizes all the acquired knowledge
