Abstract:
Práce se zaměřuje na vznik a následný vývoj Veřejné knihovny ve Vysokém Mýtě, s odkazem na stručnou historii města v 19. a 20. století,dvě významné osobnosti spojené s knihovnou, na její fond a zákony o knihovnách. Mapuje též historii veřejných knihoven na našem území a jejich význam pro nás, dále se práce zabývá typy a druhy veřejných knihoven, jejich uspořádáním a vzděláním a prací knihovníka.Abstract:
The work focuses on the emergence and subsequent development of Public Library in Vysoke Myto, referring to a brief history of the city in the 19th and 20th century, two prominent figures associated with the library fund and its laws on libraries.
