Musicality with an Emphasis on Vladimír Helfert’s Concept and Possibilities of its Development among the High School Students

Abstract:

Diplomová práce s názvem Hudebnost s důrazem na pojetí Vladimíra Helferta a možnost jejího rozvíjení u středoškolských studentů má dva hlavní cíle. Za prvé se snaží rozebrat pojem hudebnosti (který sám o sobě je téměř stejně komplikovaný, jako samotný pojem hudba), vymezit, s čím se hudebnost zaměňuje a jak na ni nahlížejí různí badatelé. Klíčovou je pro diplomovou práci osobitá koncepce významného českého muzikologa Vladimíra Helferta. Dalším cílem diplomové práce je vztáhnout tuto koncepci na současný stav a aplikovat ji na možnosti rozvoje u středoškolských studentů. V této souvislosti se diplomová práce dotýká témat jako jsou hromadné sdělovací prostředky či informační společnost. Aby bylo možno téma relevantně uchopit, je součástí diplomové práce i charakteristika středoškolských studentů jako cílové skupiny. Téma diplomové práce úzce souvisí s hudební psychologií, proto je tato disciplína v diplomové práci zohledněna, stejně jako hudební pedagogika.

Abstract:

There are two main sub-goals of this diploma thesis called Musicality with an emphasis on Vladimír Helfert’s concept and ways of its development among the high school students. Firstly, it tries to analyse a term musicality (which itself is almost as complicated as a term music). It also tries to define what the term musicality could be changed for and also, which are the points of view of the particular researchers. Crucial for the purpose of the diploma thesis is the distinctive concept created by famous Czech musicologist Vladimír Helfert. Second goal of the diploma thesis is to apply this concept on a recent situation and to try to apply the concept on the ways of musicality development among high school students. In this context, diploma thesis works with topics as Mass Media or Information Society. To understand the topic better, another part of the diploma thesis is a description of high school students as such. The subject of the diploma thesis is closely connected to musical psychology so this field is also taken into account, as well as musical pedagogy.
