Alternative types of diet and food allergies common with children of preschool age.

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá alternativními styly stravování v mateřských školách a potravinovými alergiemi u dětí předškolního věku. Výživa je pro vývoj dítěte velmi významným atributem, což potvrzuje i česká legislativa a řada odborníků. Cílem práce je zjistit připravenost mateřských škol a jejich personálu spojenou s přijetím dítěte se specifickými stravovacími potřebami. Teoretická část obsahuje kapitoly zabývající se poznatky k tématu práce. Popisuje podstatu, druhy a příznaky potravinových alergií, vymezuje základní termíny a popisuje problematiku zdravotního znevýhodnění dětí s tou či kterou potravinovou alergií. Empirická část práce obsahuje výzkumné šetření, které bylo provedeno dotazníkovou metodou ve třech vybraných mateřských školách v severozápadních Čechách, popisuje a interpretuje jeho výsledky.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is focused on alternative styles of diets in kindergarten and food allergies of pre-school children. . Proper diet is a key factor in development of a child which is also confirmed by the Czech law and by many specialist in the area. The goal of my thesis is to test the preparedness of kindergartens and their staff for taking care of a child with specific dieting requirements. There are various findings regarding the topic of this thesis in the theoretical part. For instance this part includes description, types, and symptoms of various food allergies. As well as definitions of basic terminology and description of disadvantages of children with food allergies. The practical part provides a research survey, which was conducted through distribution of questionnaires in three kindergartens in the North West part of the Czech republic. This part then also describes and interpreted the research results.
