Táto diplomová práca sa zaoberá analýzou politického aktivizmu na Slovensku po parlamentných voľbách v roku 1998 do roku 2008. Práca si stanovuje dva hlavné ciele. Prvým je prostredníctvom kvantitatívnej analýzy dát priblížiť hlavné vývojové trendy politického aktivizmu na Slovensku v sledovanom období z viacerých hľadísk.
