Abstract:
The aim of the BA thesis is to reveal the aesthetic dimension of Tarr's work within the undercurrent of slow, minimalist film realism. The primary method of the thesis is to analyse a relation between incoherence of the works' narrative and symbolic structures and the works' explorative reconfiguration of traditional editing logic and its aesthetical effect.
