Optical coherence tomography (OCT) is an essential tool for noninvasive analysis of retinal tissue. The purpose of this thesis project is to evaluate the significance of the technology for diagnosis and management of ocular diseases involving age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, macular hole, epiretinal membrane or glaucoma.
