Práca kriticky hodnotí spracovania vybraných germánskych pohrebísk doby rímskej z územia stredoeurópskeho barbarika (konkrétne Slovenska, Moravy a Čiech) a relevantnosť niektorých ich záverov v dnešných úvahách o skladbe a diferenciácii spoločnosti daného obdobia.
