Tools of strategic management at universities with focus on goal of Internationalization

Abstract:

Předmětem bakalářské práce „Nástroje strategického řízení se zaměřením na cíl Internacionalizace na univerzitách“, je zkoumání toho, jakým způsobem je internacionalizace reflektována ve strategickém řízení čtyř českých veřejných univerzit, za pomoci analýzy strategických dokumentů těchto univerzit. První část je zaměřena na evropskou vzdělávací politiku, zejména pak na Boloňský proces, který by se dal považovat za jakýsi základ rozvoje mezinárodního rozměru vysokého vzdělávání v EHEA. Na něj pak navazuje část věnující se stručnému popisu internacionalizace terciárního vzdělávání. V druhé části se nachází analýzy strategických dokumentů jednotlivých univerzit na které navazuje jejich komparace. V závěru práce je formulace doporučení využívající poznatky získané z analýz a komparací univerzit.

Abstract:

The essence of this bachelor thesis "Tools of strategic management with focus on Internationalization at universities" is an examination of how internationalization is reflected in the strategic management of four Czech public universities conducted through analysis of strategic documents of those universities. The first part of this thesis is focused on European educational politics, mainly on the Bologna process which could be considered as a basis for development of international dimension in higher education in the EHEA. The following part briefly describes internationalization at universities. The second part contains analyses of strategic documents from each university followed by their mutual comparison. In the conclusion of this thesis, there is a formulation of a recommendation that benefits from analyses and comparison of universities.
