The relationship toward artificial intelligence using at future primary first grade teachers.

Abstract:

Diplomová práce byla zaměřena na vztah k používání umělé inteligence u budoucích učitelů prvního stupně základních škol. Pomocí dotazníkového šetření bylo zjišťováno, jaký vztah k umělé inteligenci mají budoucí učitelé. Hlavním cílem tedy bylo zjistit, jaký vztah k používání umělé inteligence mají budoucí učitelé prvního stupně základních škol. Výzkumným vzorkem byli studenti vysokých škol v oboru Učitelství pro první stupeň základních škol. Výzkumný nástroj byl rozdělen na tři základní části. První část obsahovala úvodní informace, které pojednávaly o záměru výzkumného šetření. Druhá část obsahovala demografické proměnné jako pohlaví, věk, obor studia, formu studia, bydliště a práce při studiu. Poslední, třetí část, byla nejobsáhlejší a obsahovala celkem 76 položek Likertova typu. Pro splnění cílů byly použity deskriptivní, induktivní a vícerozměrné statistiky. Bylo zjištěno, že budoucí učitelé prvního stupně základních škol vykazují poměrně pozitivní vztah k používání umělé inteligence, současně projevují také určité obavy ohledně negativních aspektů a možných rizik spojených s využíváním umělé inteligence. Dále bylo zjištěno, že studenti jeví zájem o využívání umělé inteligence v různých oblastech, a to jak v pracovním prostředí, tak v každodenním životě a považují začlenění vzdělávání v oblasti umělé inteligence do učebních osnov za důležité. V rámci závěrečné kapitoly jsou prezentovány implikace do pedagogické praxe a návrhy pro další výzkum.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis was focused on the relationship to the use of artificial intelligence for future teachers of the first grade of primary schools. Using a questionnaire survey, it was determined what kind of relationship future teachers have to artificial intelligence. Thus, the main goal was to find out what relationship future primary school teachers have to the artificial intelligence. The research sample consisted of university students in the field of teaching for the first grade of elementary schools. A research tool was divided into three elemental parts. The first part contained the introductory information where the the purpose of the research investigation was discussed. The second part included demographic variables such as gender, age, field of study, form of study, place of residence and job while at school. Lastly, the third part was the most extensive and contained a total of 76 Likert-type items. To reach the objective of the survey, methods of descriptive, inductive and multivariate statistics were used. It was found that the future teachers of the first grade of elementary schools show a relatively positive relationship to the use of artificial intelligence. At the same time, they also show some concern about the negative aspects and possible risks associated with its use. Furthermore, it was also found that students are interested in the use of artificial intelligence in different areas, both in the work environment and in everyday life, and they assess the inclusion of artificial intelligence education into the curriculum vitae as important. Within the final chapters are presented implications for pedagogical practice and suggestions for further research
