Cílem této práce byla revize pěvců čeledi Estrildidae ve sbírkách Slezského zemského muzea. Bylo důležité vzít v úvahu mnoho dřívějších determinací většiny exemplářů, dřívější neúplné informace z katalogů a sestavit nový katalog sbírky s aktuálními vědeckými a českými názvy druhů. Abstract:
The aim of this thesis was a revision of passerines of the family Estrildidae in the collections of the Silesian museum in Opava. It was important to take into account a lot of earlier determinations of most of the specimens, earlier incomplete information from catalogues and to set up a new catalogue of collection with current scientific and Czech names of species.
