Shared cinematic universes: case study of Marvel Cinematic Universe
Abstract:
This thesis deals with Marvel Studios, Marvel Cinematic Universe and Marvel Comics. I examine Marvel‘s history and its values. Next I examine Marvel’s first steps in movie business. Finally I study Marvel Studios and its Marvel Cinematic Universe. It is a shared universe, similar to the one in comics. I examine how it works and why it is succesful.
Abstract:
Táto práca sa zaoberá Marvel Studios, Marvel Cinematic Universe and Marvel komiksmi. V prvej časti sa zaoberám históriou Marvelu a jeho hodnotami. Ďalej sa zaoberám prvými krokmi Marvelu vo filmovom biznise vo forme licencovaných filmov. V tretej časti za zaoberám Marvel Studios, ktoré vytvorilo Marvel Cinematic Universe.
