The impact of immigration on wages in the Czech Republic
Abstract:
Práce se zabývá imigrací a jejím vlivem na trh práce. První část shrnuje teoretické aspekty imigrace a jejího působení na mzdy a zaměstnanost. Srovnává dva možné přístupy ke zkoumání imigrace, analýzu agregovaného trhu práce a regionálních trhů práce. V souladu s tím jsou vytvořeny ekonometrické modely. This paper examines the impact of immigration on the labour market. The first part summarizes the theoretical aspects of immigration and its impact on wages and employment. It compares two different approaches to research immigration, the aggregate labour market model and the regional labour market model.
