The influence of Edgar Allan Poe on the composition of the romanetos of Jakub Arbes
Abstract:
Tato práce si klade za cíl specifikovat vliv tvorby Edgara Allana Poea na výstavbu romanet Jakuba Arbesa. Zabývá se analýzou konkrétních romanet Arbesa a povídek Poea. Každá literární práce je podrobena analýze a srovnání z různých úhlů pohledu. Shody jsou vymezené v motivické a tematické výstavbě próz a komparace je provedena v rámci uměleckého ztvárnění postav a prostředí próz obou autorů.
Abstract:
The goal of the diploma thesis is to define the relationship of the influence of the literary work of Edgar Allan Poe on the composition of the romanetos of Jakub Arbes. It deals with the analyses of certain romanetos written by Arbes and certain short stories written by Poe.The literary works are contrasted to each other particularly by analyzing and comparing various aspects.
