Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na dvojici rozměrných grafických alb, známých dnes pod označením Trinitáři II. a Trinitáři III., která jsou v současnosti uložena v rámci grafické sbírky Arcibiskupství olomouckého na zámku v Kroměříži pod inventárním číslem B35. Celek s nimi původně tvořilo grafické album Trinitáři I., ztracené na přelomu sedmdesátých a osmdesátých let minulého století. Dosavadní poznání o těchto albech je velmi fragmentární; více informací poskytuje pouze Antonín Breitenbacher (1874-1937), který také uvádí, že do Kroměříže se trojice grafických alb dostala za episkopátu Rudolfa Jana (1819-1931). Odkud však do arcibiskupova majetku přišla, není známé. V souvislosti s původem grafických alb se vynořuje celá řada dalších otázek: kdo alba sesbíral a s jakým záměrem? Jaký systém, pokud nějaký je, tvoří přes osm set grafik různých námětů, vlepených do obou alb? Právě tyto otázky jsou středem zájmu diplomové práce, která si za cíl klade shromáždění co největšího množství informací o albech a pokus o jejich interpretaci. Součástí je také katalog grafických listů, stejně jako detailnější představení vybraných grafik, přibližující zároveň jejich námětovou rozmanitost.

Abstract:

This master's thesis is focused on two large graphics albums, known by their label Trinitarians II. and Trinitarians III., which are currently a part of the graphics collection of the Olomouc Archbishopric at the Kroměříž chateau, under the inventory number B35. Originally, they formed a group with another album labelled Trinitarians I. that was lost at the turn of 1980s. The current state of knowledge about these albums is very fragmentary; one of the only sources of information is Antonín Breitenbacher (1847-1937), who states that the three graphics albums came to Kroměříž during the time of archbishop Rudolf Jan (1819-1931). It is not known, however, how they became a part of archbishop's belongings. Many questions emerge when it comes to the origin of these albums: who collected them and with what intention? What system, if there is any, do the eight hundred prints in both albums form? Those are the questions that are in the spotlight of this master's thesis which also makes its goal to compile as much information about the albums as possible and to interpret them. A catalogue of the prints and a more thorough introduction of a few chosen prints, showing the variety of their themes, is included, as well.
