The Who: Rock opera in the movie as an example of the synthesis of art disciplines.

Abstract:

Cílem práce je komparativní analýza snímků Tommy (Ken Russel, 1975) a Quadrophenia (Franc Roddam, 1979) v intencích neoformalistické analýzy Kristin Thompson a Davida Bordwella. Komparací syžetu a kamerových postupů užitých v jednotlivých filmech práce nastíní možné typy vztahů mezi obrazem a hudbou a dotkne se otázky participace diváka a jeho vlivu na celkové vyznění snímků.

Abstract:

The aim of the work is a comparative analysis of the films Tommy (Ken Russel, 1975) and Quadrophenia (Franc Roddam, 1979) in the intentions of neoformalistic analysis Kristin Thompson and David Bordwell.
