This bachelor thesis focuses on the inter-war period in Britain. The theoretical part´s main aim is to show the reader what the life in inter-war Britain´s society was like. Tato bakalářská práce se soustředí na meziválečné období v Británii. Hlavní cíl teoretické práce je nastínit čtenářům jaký byl život ve společnosti meziválečné Británie. Práce se zabývá celosvětovou ekonomickou krizí a jakým způsobem ovlivnila obyvatele, důsledky první světové války a v neposlední řadě vzestupem organizovaného zločinu, jenž je hlavním tématem druhé kapitoly.
