Abstract:

Práce se zabývá tématem opcí a jejich obchodování. Teoretická část práce přibližuje místa, kde je možné opce obchodovat, jejich strukturu, typy a chování při změně podkladového aktiva. Uvádí, jakým způsobem je možné minimalizovat riziko při obchodování, tedy využívat jejich zajišťovací funkci a vytvářet různé opční spready a kombinace. Praktická část ukazuje teoretické informace v praxi a zároveň hodnotí i různé opční strategie. V práci je vytvořen model na výhled amerického akciového indexu S&P 500 a na něj backtestovaná opční strategie.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with option and options trading. The theoretical part outlines institutions where options can be traded and explains structure, type and behavior of the option contracts when the underlying assets change its value. It explains how to minimize risk using hedging strategies like spreads and combinations. The practical part presents theoretical part in use and evaluates various option strategies. In the thesis a model for the American index S&P 500 with a back test of an option strategy is presented.
