Anotácia:

Anotace Cílem této magisterské práce je zjištění, zdali existují rozdíly v efektivitě výuky angličtiny u 3 a 6ti letých dětí, zejména ve výslovnosti, rozsahu slovní zásoby, existence období ticha, činností, které děti upřednostňují v hodinách angličtiny, po dobu pozorování v délce pěti měsíců. Magisterská práce je rozdělena do dvou částí a to na část teoretickou a část praktickou. Teoretická část se zabývá osvojením mateřského jazyka a druhého jazyka a poskytuje teoretický rámec pro výslovnost, slovní zásobu, období ticha zkoumané v praktické části. Dále také popisuje důležité metody a přístupy, které hrají významnou roli v osvojení druhého jazyka. Praktická část se zaměřuje na pozorování dětí vzhledem k výše uvedeným jazykovým aspektům.

Abstract:

Annotation The aim of the master thesis is to find out whether there are any differences in the effectivity of learning English by 3 and 6 year old learners considering the pronunciation, the knowledge of vocabulary, the existence of the silent period and the learners’ preferences of activities performed in English lessons in the period of five months. The thesis is divided into the theoretical and the practical part. The theoretical part describes acquiring a first language and learning a second language, it also provides background on pronunciation, vocabulary, silent period for the practical part. Furthermore, it depicts some important methods and approaches that play a vital role in the teaching process. Practical part is then focused on observing the learners with the respect to the above mentioned language aspects.
