The synthesis of novel bis(amino)boranes as precursors for germanium(II) amides

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na chemii bis(amino)boranů, jejich přípravu a možnosti jejich využití při přípravě amidů kovů 14. skupiny. Teoretická část práce se zabývá možnostmi přípravy a obecnými vlastnostmi bis(amino)boranů. Dále je její součástí přehled dosud připravených amidů odvozených od prvků 14. skupiny s důrazem na deriváty obsahující atomy germania. Experimentální část je věnována syntéze bis(amino)boranů, které díky chemické povaze NBN skeletu mohou sloužit právě jako prekurzory pro budoucí přípravu amidů germanatých. V rámci této práce bylo připraveno a plně charakterizováno 5 nových boraamidinátových ligandů s rozdílnými substituenty, které mohou ovlivnit jejich reaktivitu.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is focused on the chemistry of bis(amino)boranes, their preparation and possibilities for their utilization in the synthesis of metallic amides of Group 14 elements. The theoretical part deals with preparation and general properties of bis(amino)boranes. It also includes an overview of previously prepared amides with 14th Group elements, with emphasis on derivatives containing germanium atoms. The experimental part is devoted to the synthesis of bis(amino)boranes which, due to the chemical nature of the NBN skeleton, can serve as precursors for the synthesis of germanium(II) amides. This work describes 5 new bis(amino)boranes as ligand-precursors with different substituents, that should influence their future reactivity.
