Bakalárska práca je zameraná na spracovanie prehľadu kryptografických hašovacích funkcií a princípov ich fungovania. Prvá časť práce sa zaoberá definovaním základných pojmov a charakteristikou hašovacích funkcií, ktoré reprezentujú jednu z oblastí modernej kryptografie.
