Magical Realism. Contribution to the realist movements of the 1st half of the 1920s
Abstract:
Po první světové válce se v Čechách i v Evropě rozvíjely realistické tendence. Jednou z nich byl magický realismus. Tento směr měl v českém prostředí silný primitivistický nádech a byl ovlivněn tvorbou Bohumila Kubišty, Jana Zrzavého a Josefa Čapka. Nejvýrazněji se magický realismus projevil v dílech raného Devětsilu, u Pravoslava Kotíka a Františka Foltýna.
Abstract:
After World War I, in the than Czechoslovakia as well as in Europe, tendencies of realism developed, among them magic realism. In Czech conditions, this movement had a strong flavour of primitivism and was influenced by works of Bohumil Kubišta, Jan Zrzavý and Josef Čapek.
