Abstract:
This thesis analyzes the writings of two important female Native activists of the early-twentieth century, Laura Cornelius Kellogg and Gertrude Simmons Bonnin (Zitkala-Ša), in regard to American Indian sovereignty and assimilation. Tato práce se zabývá analýzou literárních děl dvou významných indiánských aktivistek počátku dvacátého století, Laury Cornelius Kellogg a Gertrude Simmons Bonnin (Zitkala-Ša), s ohledem na suverenitu a asimilaci amerických Indiánů.
