Methodology of implementation of software-defined networks in a medium-sized organization

Abstract:

Softwarově definované sítě jsou stále poměrně novým paradigmatem ve světě počítačových sítí. Hlavním principem je oddělení řídicí roviny sítě do jediného logicky centralizovaného prvku - kontroléru. Tato práce popisuje základní principy SDN a vytváří popis vzorové organizace. Na požadavky této organizace je vytvořena metodika implementace a následně i ukázka implementace SDN.

Abstract:

Software defined networks are still a relatively new paradigm in the world of computer networks. The main aim is to separate the control plane into a single logically centralized element - controller. This thesis describes the basic principles of SDN and creates a description of a sample organization. The methodology of implementation and subsequent implementation of SDN is created for the requirements of this organization.
