The Influence of Upper - Limb Prosthetics on Self - Sufficiency in Everyday Activities.

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na problematiku vlivu protéz na horních konšetinách na soběstačnost v aktivitách všedního dne. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část se zabývá amputacemi a vrozenými vadami horních končetin. Dále jsou popsány jednotlivé druhy protéz horních končetin a jejich výhody a nevýhody. Praktická část obsahuje kazuistiky, ve kterých jsu zaznamenány základní informace o klientech, vstupní průběžné a výstupní vyšetření, krátkodobý a dlouhodobý ergoterapeutický plán. Další součástí praktické části jsou stanovené hypotézy a diskuze k dosaženým výsledkům.

Abstract:

This thesis is focused on the influence of prosthetic arms on self - sufficiency in activities of everyday life. The work is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part deals with amputations and congenital defects of the upper limbs. Furthermore the different types of upper limb prostheses and their advantages and disadvantages are described. The practical part includes case studies, in which basic information about the clients, initial, intermediate and final examinations, short and long-term occupational therapy plan are recorded. Another part of the practical part is the set hypothesis and discussion on the results achieved.
