Tectonics of the Ordovician in the Northern part of Prague City

Anotácia:

Práce se zabývá tektonickou stavbou severní části Prahy mezi Trójou a Letnou. Vychází jednak z poskytnuté dokumentace průzkumné štoly pro tunelový komplex Blanka a jednak z vlastních tektonických dat pořízených v okolí tunelové stavby. Z průzkumné štoly byly vyhodnoceny strukturně tektonické prvky (plochy vrstevnatosti, pukliny, tektonické poruchy) metodou orientační analýzy. Na základě některých odchylek orientace vrstevnatosti ze zhotovené mapy orientací vrstevnatosti byly zjištěny v rámci štoly dva systémy střižných zón, které určují tektonická poruchová pásma směru Z-V (pravostranný pohyb) a SSV-JJZ (levostranný pohyb). Na skalních výchozech v okolí průzkumné štoly byly zjištěny prvky ukazující na vrásovou stavbu s osou vrásy uklánějící se k JZ pod sklonem asi 33°.

Abstract:

The bachelor’s thesis focuses on tectonics of the northern part of Prague, between Trója and Letná. The research is based on compiled orientation data from the geological documentation for the Blanka tunnel complex, and on the author’s own tectonic data from the surroundings of the tunnel complex. The compiled directional data were interpreted using the spherical statistical analysis. As there were several cases of deviation of the bedding plane orientation from the standard, two systems of shear zones were recognized in the tunnel complex, dextral ones in W-E direction, and sinistral ones in NNE-SSW direction. Tectonic data collected in the surroundings of the tunnel show fold structure parameters, with fold axis plunging in approximately 33 degrees to the south-west.
