Abstract:

Cílem projektu KOST (=komunikační stáž) je navázat symbiotický vztah mezi určitými aspekty psychiatrické léčby a vysokoškolské edukace a inspirovat další studenty k veřejně prospěšným projektům. Komunikační stáž je zaměřena na rozvoj praktických zkušeností studentů a zároveň na podporu procesu léčby hospitalizovaných pacientů. Cílem této diplomové práce bylo prozkoumat, jaké jsou možnosti využití školních praxí studentů psychologie Masarykovy univerzity (MU) k saturaci komunikačních potřeb pacientek na uzavřeném oddělení psychiatrické léčebny a jaký přínos z toho mohou mít zúčastněné strany. Projektu KOST se účastnilo během tří měsíců jeho trvání 8 studentů MU. Sedm z nich si plnilo školní praxi a všichni dostáli formálním požadavkům na ukončení předmětu. Stážisté reflektovali značný osobní přínos, který jim účast v projektu KOST přinesla. Stážisté i pacientky reflektovali pozitivní vliv přítomnosti stážistů na oddělení na prožívání pacientek. V diskusi jsou zjištěné výsledky propojovány s teorií, dále jsou rozebrána omezení projektu a navržena řešení těchto prozatímních omezení v kontextu současného stavu projektu KOST.

Abstract:

The aim of the project KOST (= communications internship) is to establish a symbiotic relationship between certain aspects of psychiatric treatment and tertiary education and to inspire other students to community service projects. Communications internship is focused on developing students' practical experienceand also on supporting the process of treatment of hospitalized patients. The aim of this thesis was to explore the possibilities of using the school practice of psychology students at Masaryk University (MU) to saturation communications needs of patients in the locked ward psychiatric hospital and the benefits of which may have interested parties 8 students of MU participated in the KOST project during three months. Seven of them motivated with school practice fullfilled all the formal requirements for completing the school internship courses. Students reflected significant personal contribution to their participation in the KOST project. Students also reflected the positive effect on patiens that have had presence of trainees in the hospital for patients mental state. The results are interconnected with the theory, limitations have been considered and the project designed to be continued in the context of the current state of KOST project.
