Kaizen application for engineering company

Abstract:

Cílem této bakalářské práce je nejen implementace webové aplikace interně nazvané Idea Management, která bude sloužit pro podávání, řízení a vyhodnocování zlepšovacích návrhů, skoronehod a Waste Walků, ale také seznámit čtenáře s filozofií Kaizen, jejími metodikami a využívání Kaizenu ve firmě Pierburg s.r.o. Tato aplikace je vyvíjena pod firmou Pierburg s.r.o, která začíná s vývojem interních aplikací, které podporují různé části společnosti. Čtenář tak bude seznámen s aktuálním řešením zmíněných procesů, východisky řešení a motivací k vytvoření nové aplikace.

Abstract:

The aim of this bachelor thesis is not only to implement a web application internally named Idea Management, which will serve for submitting, managing, and evaluating improvement ideas, near misses, and Waste Walks, but also to introduce the reader to the philosophy of Kaizen, its methodologies, and the use of Kaizen in Pierburg s.r.o. The application is being developed under Pierburg s.r.o., which is starting to develop internal applications that support various parts of the company. The reader will be familiarized with the current solution of the mentioned processes, the starting points of the solution, and the motivation for creating a new application.
