Firearms and their importance in forensic ballistic

Abstract:

Cílem mé závěrečné práce je objasnění významu palných zbraní v kriminalistické balistice. Práce má teoretickou část rozpracovanou do sedmi kapitol, část praktickou a přílohu s obrázky pro lepší vizualizaci některých jevů. V teoretické části jsou popsány a rozebrány jednotlivé obory kriminalistické balistiky, metody, objekty a základní oblasti zkoumání, balistické stopy, identifikační postupy a význam kriminalistické balistiky v praxi. Do části praktické jsou vybrány a popsány tři konkrétní případy z historie balistického zkoumání. Závěr bakalářské práce zdůvodňuje význam palných zbraní a nutnost jejich individuální identifikace.

Abstract:

The aim of my thesis is to clarify the importance of firearms in forensic ballistics. The work has a theoretical part elaborated into seven chapters, a practical part and an attachment with pictures for better visualization of some phenomena. In the theoretical part are described any analyzed individual branches of forensic ballistics, methods, objects and basic areas of exploration, ballistics traces, identification procedures and importance of forensics ballistics in practise. Three concrete cases from the history of ballistics research are selected and described in the practical part. The conclusion of the thesis justifies the importance of firearms and the necessity of their individual identification.
