Establishing a process for assessing the carbon footprint of JD autodoprava, s.r.o.

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá stanovením procesu pro hodnocení uhlíkové stopy v podniku JD autodoprava, s.r.o. Cílem práce je na základě dostupných informačních zdrojů a analýzy konkrétních dat firmy vytvořit metodiku pro vyhodnocení uhlíkové stopy a identifikovat ukazatele pro její hodnocení. Práce se věnuje problematice uhlíkové stopy v logistickém sektoru, analyzuje logistické operace z pohledu uhlíkové stopy v GLS CZ a spolupracujícího podniku JD autodoprava, s.r.o. Dále se zaměřuje na stanovení metodiky pro vyhodnocení uhlíkové stopy ve firmě a porovnává výsledky s následnými doporučeními pro praxi. Práce přináší komplexní pohled na ekonomickou a ekologickou efektivitu logistických operací a představuje strategie pro snižování uhlíkové stopy v rámci logistického sektoru.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the establishment of a process for the evaluation of the carbon footprint in the company JD autodoprava, s.r.o. The aim of the thesis is to develop a methodology for the evaluation of the carbon footprint and to identify indicators for its evaluation based on available information sources and analysis of specific company data. The thesis deals with the issue of carbon footprint in the logistics sector, analyses logistics operations from the perspective of carbon footprint in GLS CZ and the cooperating company JD autodoprava, s.r.o. It also focuses on establishing a methodology for evaluating the carbon footprint in the company and compares the results with subsequent recommendations for practice. The paper provides a comprehensive view of the economic and environmental efficiency of logistics operations and presents strategies for reducing the carbon footprint within the logistics sector.
