Monitoring of morphological changes of the active meander belt in the Poodří PLA using UAV - 1st phase

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá tvorbou digitálního modelu povrchu jedné části aktivního meandrového pásu řeky Odry, nacházející se poblíž rybníku Velký Budní v CHKO Poodří. Byla použita kombinace technologie UAV, diferenciálního GPS zaměřování a metody Structure from Motion. Práce obsahuje teoretickou část, kde je shrnuta charakteristika daného území. V této části je také rozebrána česká i zahraniční literatura, zabývající se danou problematikou. Praktická část je zaměřena na technickou stánku věci, což znamená detailní popis použitých prostředků, postupu při snímkování a při tvorbě modelu v Agisoft Metashape Professional. Práce dále obsahuje výpočet základních morfometrických parametrů. Diskusní část se pak zabývá shrnutím v podobě reportovaných chyb, základních vlastností modelu a také popisu vytvořeného DEM a Ortofota.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis deals with the production of digital elevation model of one part of Odra River active meander belt, located near the dam of Velký Budní water pond in the Poodří Protected Landscape Area. The combination of UAV technology, differential GPS and Structure from Motion method was used. The thesis contains theoretical part, which summarizes the characteristics of the study area. Also Czech and foreign literature dealing with studied issue is analysed in this part. Practical part is focused on the technical issues of work and contains detailed description of used devices, mapping process and creation of the model in Agisoft Metashape Professional software. Further, the thesis contains calculations of basic morphometric parameters. Discussion part summarises reported errors, properties of the model and also description of the created DEM and orthomosaic map.
