Phallos: Cultural Change

Abstract:

Mnohé o práci může naznačit už samotný název. Práce se věnuje penisu, a to jak z pohledu medicínského, kulturního, tak i sociologického. Dříve bylo vše (bráno s ohledem na období, které přišlo po zániku starověkých civiliací) spojené se sexualitou silně tabuizováno, včetně pohledu na mužské a ženské genitálie. Až v posledních zhruba 50 letech dochází ve společnosti ke změně a uvolnění a z penisu se stává zajímavý fenomén, který prostupuje napříč celou společností. S penisem se setkáte v různých podobách téměř na každém kroku. Zároveň se s rozšířením internetu a masivním nástupem pornoprůmyslu výrazně změnilo jeho vnímání. S tím, jak se o penisu čím dál vice mluví, dostává ve společnosti zcela nový rozměr.

Abstract:

A lot about the thesis says the title itself. The thesis is dedicated to penis, in the perspective of medical, as well as cultural and sociological aspects. Everything related to sexuality was in past (meaning the period after the downfall of ancient civilizations) a taboo, including a sight of a male or female genitals. In the last 50 years there has been a change in the society and the penis becomes an interesting phenomenon, which grows throughout the society. You can meet the penis in many different forms almost at your every step. In relation with spread of the Internet and massive growth of porn industry the perception of penis has been distinctly changed. With penis becoming an often discussed subject, it is getting a completely new dimension in society.
