Programme Synergies between Radio and Television

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá synergickými procesy mezi programem rádia a televize v rámci společného mediálního domu. V teoretické části je věnována pozornost situaci na českém rozhlasovém a televizním trhu, vymezení klíčových pojmů a úvodu do problematiky synergických procesů. Praktická část představuje sledovaná média, Rádio Čas a Televizi Relax, a popisuje postup kvantitativní analýzy mediálního obsahu se zaměřením na jeho provázanost mezi těmito subjekty z hlediska programu i lidské práce. Práce dále definuje typy synergií, které se liší mírou i komplexností a prezentuje výsledky šetření. Projektová část nabízí řešení, která povedou k navýšení sdíleného obsahu mezi rádiem a televizí za předpokladu nižších nákladů a vyšší efektivity.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with synergic processes between the radio and television programme within the framework of the common media house. The theoretical part focuses on the situation on the Czech radio and television market, defining the key concepts and the introduction in the issue of synergic processes. The practical part presents the observed media, Radio Čas and Television Relax, and describes the process of the quantitative analysis of the media content, focusing on its interconnection between these subjects with respect to the programme as well as to human work. The thesis further defines the types of synergies differing both in their extent and complexity, and presents the research results. The project part offers solutions resulting in increasing the shared content between radio and television on the assumption that there will be lower costs and efficiency.
