Cross country mountain biking in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou cross-country závodů na horských kolech v České republice. Práce je speciálně zaměřena na cross-country závody v seriálu Českého poháru. V první části práce jsou popsány disciplíny na horských kolech a horské kolo samotné. Druhá část je zaměřena na analýzu oblastí, kde se cross-country závody pořádají, a jejich četnost. Dále řeší otázku klasifikace závodů, rozdělení závodů do věkových kategorií a představuje mládežnické závody na horském kole v Libereckém kraji. Náplní třetí části je analýza cross-country závodů na horských kolech v Českém poháru, vytvoření map a vytyčení tras, dále určení charakteristiky tratí z hlediska technické a fyzické náročnosti na základě profilů tratí a jejich složení. V závěru třetí části je pak popis tréninkových metod a životosprávy v závodním období cross-country závodníka. Výsledkem je podrobný popis cross-country závodů na horských kolech v seriálu Českého poháru, který slouží pro závodníky jako přehled s důležitými informacemi o jednotlivých závodech. V práci byly využity osobní zkušenosti autora a zkušenosti profesionálního jezdce v této disciplíně.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of cross-country races on mountain bikes in the Czech republic. The thesis is on cross-country races of the serial Czech cup specially focused. In the first part of the thesis are the disciplines on mountain bikes and the mountain bike itself described. The second part is on the analysis of areas focused, where the cross-country races and their frequency are hold. The thesis next deals with the question of the races classification, the races distribution into ages and presents the youth races on mountain bike in the Liberec region. Filling of the third part is the analysis of cross-country races on mountain bikes in the Czech cup, creation of maps and demarcation of routes, the destination of the routes characteristic from the technical and physical severity aspects and their composition. In the end of the third part are the training methods and the diet in the race period of cross-coundtry racer described. The result is the full description of cross-country races on mountain bikes in the serial Czech cup, which served for the racers as a summary of important informations about the individual races. In the thesis were the personal experiences of author and the experiences of professional racer used.
