Risks of social networks for minors

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na vliv sociálních sítí na nezletilé a na nejrozšířenější rizika, která jsou spojená s internetem. V teoretické části jsou definovány základní pojmy spojené s touto problematikou a uvedeny informace o pravidlech bezpečného chování na internetu. Dále jsou zde popsána hlavní rizika, která se dotýkají této problematiky u nezletilých. Zároveň poskytuje výsledky výzkumu dotazníkového šetření. Empirická část bakalářské práce usiluje o realizaci výzkumu a analýzy dat. V posledním kroku práce vyhodnocuje teoretické poznatky a aplikuje je na praktický výzkum. Výstupem práce je zjištění povědomí o rizikovosti sociálních sítí, zejména o chybějících znalostech správného a bezpečného chování v online prostředí. Práce poukazuje na nedostatečnou znalost rodičů toho, jak se děti na internetu chovají. V závěru bakalářské práce je návrh opatření ke zvýšení bezpečnosti nezletilých.

Abstract:

The bachelor’s thesis focuses on the influence of social networks on minors and the most widespread risks associated with the internet. The theoretical part defines the basic concepts associated with this issue and provides information on the rules of safe behavior on the internet. It also describes the main risks affecting the issue in minors. At the same time, it provides the results of the survey research. The empirical part of the bachelor’s thesis aims to deliver research and data analysis. In the final step, the paper evaluates theoretical knowledge and applies it to practical research. The outcome of the work is to establish awareness of the riskiness of social networks, in particular the lack of knowledge of correct and safe behaviour in the online environment. The work highlights parents’ lack of knowledge of how children behave online. At the end of the bachelor’s thesis is a draft of measures to increase the safety of minors.
