Hellenistic inventions and technological progress in the third century B. C.
Abstract:
Práce se zabývá shromážděním a analýzou helenistických objevů a s nimi spojeným technologickým pokrokem třetího století před n.l. Součástí popisu je návod na sestrojení vynálezů podle dobových technických popisů, jejich použití v tehdejší době a případně i jejich přesah do současné doby.
Abstract:
This thesis deals with gathering and analysis of the helenistic inventions of the third century B.C., and the tecnological progress resulting from them. Included are also the instructions for their constructions according to the period technical descriptions, their use in the helenistic era, and their possible use in the modern times.
