Abstract:

Praktická část diplomové práce sestává ze série obrazů, na kterých je pomocí výtvarných medií (zejména kresby) a geometrických metod vytvořen imaginární prostor v podkladové ploše. Základní inspirací jsou zde různé stereometrické útvary a geometricky vyjádřené vzorce. Skrze jejich deformace autorka hledá možnosti vyjádření svých myšlenek. Doprovodná textová část pojednává o výtvarných a matematických prostředcích používaných k zobrazování prostoru na plochu. Je zde sledován vývoj zachycování prostorovosti. Práce se dále zabývá matematikou jako zdrojem inspirace pro umělce. Na závěr je komentována praktická část.

Abstract:

The practical part of the thesis consists of a series of pictures in which an imaginary space is created in the underlying surface by art media (especially drawing) and geometric methods. There are various stereometric forms and formulas expressed geometrically as the primary source of inspiration. The author uses a deformation of the shapes as a way to communicate her ideas. The theoretic part of this thesis discusses the artistic and mathematical methods that are used to display three-dimensional space on the surface. There is an evolution of imaging the spatiality described. This work also deals mathematics as a source of inspiration for the artists. Finally, the practical part is commented by the author.
