Abstract:
This Bachelor thesis analyses the positive effects of the British Raj, while also paying due attention to the negatives. To do so, the dark past of the East India Company's rule and its transition into Crown rule will be explored through their atrocities. To observe the positives that can be found in British India, E. Tahle bakalářská práce analyzuje pozitivní dopady Britského Rádžů, a porovnává je s dopady negativními. Ohlíží se za temnou minulostí vlády Britské Východoindické společnosti a jejím přechodem k vládě Britské koruny skrze mnohé brutality a krveprolití.
