Práce je věnována dvoukomorovému parlamentu České republiky a vysvětluje úlohu a význam Senátu ČR. Postihuje utváření politického systému v Rakousku-Uhersku, procesu emancipace českého národa. The paper is focused on two chambers of Parliament of the Czech Republic and explains the role and the significance of Czech Senate. It contains the formation of the political system in Habsburg monarchy, emancipation of the Czech nation. It covers the foundation of the political system in Czechoslovakia from 1918 to present.
