Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce na téma „ZTRACENÁ MÍSTA - Tvorba veřejných prostorů” bylo hledání ztracených míst veřejného prostoru a jejich následné poznání odkrýváním historických vrstev. Tyto poznatky byly následně otisknuty do návrhu, který má dané hodnoty respektovat a soudobým způsobem je přiblížit současnému návštěvníkovi.Práce se zabývá veřejnými prostory na místech bývalých brněnských hřbitovů. Téma zrušených hřbitovů bylo vybráno pro jejich silný vztah k historii a vzpomínání. Dalším důvodem bylo, že současná podoba zrušených hřbitovů se zachovanými vzrostlými dřevinami má často vysoký potenciál z hlediska oboru zahradní a krajinářské architektury.Byla nalezena ztracená místa zrušených hřbitovů v rámci modelového objektu – města Brna. Byl zpracován jejich historický vývoj v rámci města a pojmenovány hodnoty, které byly následně použity jako hlavní východiska pro návrh.V architektonickém návrhu je snaha o přeměnu objektů tak, aby respektovaly odpočinek zesnulých a zároveň umožňovaly odpočinek a prostor k rozjímání současným návštěvníkům.

Abstract:

The main goal of the thesis "LOST PLACES - Creation of public spaces" was the search for lost public spaces and their understanding by uncovering historical layers. These findings were used in the proposal, that should respect the values and bring them closer to the current visitor in contemporary approach.The thesis discusses public spaces in the places of former Brno cemeteries. The theme of abolished cemeteries was chosen for its strong relationship to history and remembrance. Another reason was former cemeteries's current appearance with preserved mature trees has high potential in terms of the field of garden and landscape architecture.The lost public spaces of the abolished cemeteries were found within the model place – the city of Brno. Its historical development within the city was elaborated and the values were named and subsequently used as the main starting points for the proposal.In the architectural proposal, there is an effort to transform the places so that they respect the rest of the deceased and at the same time allow rest and space for contemplation to current visitors.
