Abstract:

Annotation of The Work The diploma work ,Rating´ is focused on touching of this word and explaining what to dedicated is and the way this can do for the market. A goal of the offered work is to define the word and the meaning of rating for the rating companies operations about the financial markets. I am about the rating origination, its historical radix and the evolution in the first part. Then I am about the history of the rating companies and the evolution of rating on the Slovak market. I clasify the rating, I teoreticaly explain the word ,rating´, I deal with the time aspect it makes for, the subject, which rates and the localities if it is given the international or the local rating in the next part. I introduce the most famous rating agencies, their world market status, I describe their activity and the rating completing in the part three. I try to explain rating suitability, its funding, the creating process, the sources of information and the scale. The last part of my diploma work is composed of my interpretation where I try to summarize shortly what rating means and which advantages can bring to Slovak market.

Abstract:

Anotácia práce Diplomová práca ,,Rating“ je zameraná na priblíženie tohto pojmu a vysvetlenie, na čo je rating určený a akým spôsobom môže slúžiť trhu. Cieľom predkladanej práce je definovať pojem a význam ratingu pre operácie ratingových spoločností na finančných trhoch. V prvej časti sa zaoberám vznikom ratingu, jeho historickým koreňom a vývojom. Ďalej sa zaoberám históriou ratingových spoločností a vývojom ratingu na slovenskom trhu. V ďalšej časti klasifikujem rating, teoreticky vysvetľujem pojem rating, rozdeľujem ho z hľadiska času, na ktorý sa zhotovuje, subjektu, ktorý hodnotí a lokality, či ide o medzinárodný alebo lokálny rating. V tretej časti predstavujem najvýznamnejšie ratingové agentúry, ich postavenie na svetovom trhu, popisujem ich činnosť a zostavovanie samotného ratingu. Pokúšam sa vysvetliť účelnosť ratingu, jeho financovanie, proces jeho tvorby, informačné zdroje, a stupnice jeho hodnotenia. Poslednú časť diplomovej práce tvorí moje vyhodnotenie, v ktorom sa snažím stručne zhrnúť, čo je rating, prečo sa na slovenskom finančnom trhu zatiaľ málo využíva a aké výhody by mohol priniesť investorom. Poslednú časť mojej práce tvorí záver, kde naznačujem, ako si správne vybrať spoločnosť na základe ratingovej známky.
